over 40% of the UK’s carbon emissions. This is considered significant
because of its implications for climate change and risks associated
with energy security and prices. New development has therefore come
under increasing pressure, principally through planning policy and the
Building Regulations updates, to improve efficiency and decarbonise
supply.

Iceni Projects Ltd has a team of qualified energy assessors that can
provide strategic level advice on this issue for the purposes of
identifying cost-efficient solutions and satisfying planning and other
requirements (e.g. sustainability). Energy strategies are normally
undertaken at a relatively early stage of the project design and prior
